HVAC System Air Duct Cleaning

1 Priority Environmental Services, Inc. is a licensed and certified HVAC contractor dedicated to environmental Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) partially evidenced by our commissioning of a scientific study of the impact of air duct cleaning, titled "Effect of Heating-Ventilation-Air Conditioning System Sanitation on Airborne Fungal Populations in Residential Environments" in the Annals of Allergy, Vol. 71, Number 6, Dec. 1993 and this report is still the accepted standard today for complete system cleaning as recommended by the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA). We were also the first duct cleaning company to use color camera technology for documentation purposes and one of our founders owns two patents on this cutting-edge video duct cleaning technology and we continue to support regulation and certification to protect consumers.

Indoor Air Quality. 1 Priority. Your Solution.

DID YOU KNOW...
HVAC is pronounced either "H-V-A-C" or "H-VAK" and is an initialism/acronym that stands for "Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning."
Ducts are used in HVAC to deliver and remove air including the supply air, return air, & exhaust air and clean air ducts is one method of ensuring acceptable indoor air quality.
Ducts represent the largest surface area component of a commercial building system.
All of a building's air passes through the air ducts several times per hour.
Health problems related to mold have been documented in humans and animals since the 1930s.
Mold is even a likely candidate for the Biblical condition mistranslated as "leprosy".
More recently, mold has been linked with so-called Sick Building Syndrome (SBS).
All molds are fungi, but not all fungi are molds.
Most molds feed off dead matter (saprophytic).
Building occupants of Sick Building Syndrome complain of symptoms associated with acute discomfort, e.g., headache; eye, nose, or throat irritation; dry cough; dry or itchy skin; dizziness and nausea; difficulty in concentrating; fatigue; and sensitivity to odors.
The three functions of heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning are all closely interrelated and seek to provide thermal comfort, acceptable indoor air quality, and reasonable operation and maintenance costs.
